Hot Lunch Ordering in Now Open

ADAMS ROAD HOT LUNCH PROGRAM 2017/2018 

The Hot Lunch Program will be offered approximately every 3 - 4 weeks and ordering occurs in 3 ORDERING SESSIONS

 

FALL SESSION (ordering opens September 22nd) - for lunch dates from October 2017 - January 2018

WINTER SESSION (ordering in January) - for lunch dates from February 2018 - April 2018

SPRING SESSION (ordering in April) - for lunch dates from April 2018 - June 2018

 

 

All Hot Lunch orders will be placed ONLINE using the Munch a lunch Website

 

First time users only must create an account

1.     Go to the Adams Road PAC website: www.adamsroadpac.com

2.     Click the “HOT LUNCH” tab at the top;

3.     Click the “Register here” button;

4.     Follow the easy steps to “Create my Account”

5.     Once logged onto Munch a lunch, proceed to “Order lunch!”

 

Returning users (after you have created an account or you have one from a previous year)

1.     Go to the Munch a Lunch website: www.munchalunch.com

2.     Click the “Login” button

3.     Use the same email account and password as previous year(s)

4.     Proceed to “Order lunch!”

 

All payments are made directly on the Munch a lunch website using Credit Card.

NO CASH OR CHEQUES ACCEPTED.


PLEASE NOTE: If your child is ill or absent on a hot lunch date, please let us know at arhotlunch@gmail.com. Orders can be designated to another child or picked up from the servery until noon.

Only on hot lunch days, all children eat first. If dropping off a lunch for your child, drop off at the office by 11:40 am.


HOT LUNCH ORDERING FOR THE FALL SESSION

 

This round of ordering will only be for the 5 lunch dates in the FALL SESSION (from October - January)

 

OPENS: 9:00 am FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 2017

CLOSES: 10:00 pm FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 2017

 

All payment must be made directly on the Munch a lunch website using Credit Card.

NO CASH OR CHEQUES ACCEPTED.

 

Deadline for all Hot Lunch orders and payments is

10:00 pm on SEPTEMBER 29, 2017.

 

NO LATE ORDERS OR PAYMENTS ACCEPTED.

 

PLEASE NOTE: If you only want to order hot lunch for one of the fall dates, all orders must still be made during the September ordering period. (For example, if you do not want lunches for November but you DO want lunches for December and January, you still have to order in September)

 

There will be another round of ordering in January (after Winter Break) for the WINTER SESSION and in April (after Spring Break) for the SPRING SESSION.

Lovable & Emily Press Labels

Hope everyone is having a fantastic Summer. School is just around the corner and will be here before we know it. If you are looking at ordering labels for your child's backpack, shoes, lunch bags, water bottles, etc. Adams Road Elementary has set up accounts with the following companies.

A portion of the proceeds from each purchase will go to Adams Road Elementary to help pay for things such as new playground equipment, computers, library books, etc. 
If you are looking at purchasing labels for your children please consider ordering from one of the following companies. All you need to do is paste the link into your web browser (make sure the Adams Road fundraiser name comes up) and you are ready to start ordering. All orders will be shipped directly to your home once placed.

Get ready, school is back!

School resumes on Tuesday, September 5th (10am - 11am)
After dropping the kids off, stop by the gym for coffee and snacks.
The PAC will be there from 10 until 11am.


Staff Appreciation Lunch

Our staff at Adams Road are amazing and we don’t want the year to end without a chance to celebrate them and show them how much we’ve appreciated their dedication over the year.

 

We will be having a special Staff Appreciation Lunch on FRIDAY, JUNE 16 and would love your help!

 

We are looking for parents to help provide a delicious dish, as well as help with setting up & cleaning up after the event. If you are interested, please click on the link below to go to the sign-up sheet.

Fun Fair Volunteers Needed!

Adams Road Fun Fair 
Friday, May 26th 
| 5 - 8pm!
It is that time to step up and volunteer to help make our fun fair a huge success!  

Cakes

To make our cake walk a success we ask that you donate as many cakes or cupcakes as you would like!  The cakes/cupcakes don’t have to be homemade they can be store bought.  Please ensure that all items are nut free!  We will have a judging contest and the top 5 decorated cakes will win a free punch card!  These items can be brought to the school on Friday, May 26 and dropped off before 11:30am in the multi-purpose room.  Decorated cake judging will take place at 12:00pm.  If you are bringing store bought cakes or do not want your cakes judged we will be accepting cakes until 2:30pm.  Please ensure your child’s name and division is on the cake if you would like it judged.

Candy Donations

We will be welcoming buckets of sealed candy for our candy game for Fun Fair.  If you would like to help by donating a volunteer sign up sheet will be sent out the first week of May.


Raffle Baskets

There will be an email and sign up sheet sent to your classroom to sign up for items we hope to have donated for raffle baskets or for the candy game.  Each Division has been assigned a theme.  Money is always a welcome donation to fill missing needed items.  All donations and money have to be received by Thursday, May 4.
 

Volunteer hours  

We want you to enjoy the fair with your child but it takes the hard work of many volunteers to pull off this event.  There will be a sign up sheet online to volunteer at the beginning of May.  We will advertise when this is posted.  We will need volunteer hours to cover from 4:30pm until 8:30pm on Friday, May 26.  

Game Punch Cards

The Munchalunch website will be open for ordering of pre-sales as of April 18. We require all pre-sale orders and payment no later than May 5th.  After May 5th the full price will be charged for punch cards and will be available on the day of the fair based on availability.  

We encourage you to order through pre-sales as the prices will be substantially lower until May 5.  Pre-sales give us a good idea of how many punch cards to provide and how many prizes to purchase so please order early and save money!  Punch cards will be sent home with your child on Thursday May 18th.  Do not lose these as there are no refunds!  

PLEASE NOTE: Punch Cards are $8.00 each (a previous handout incorrectly said $6.50)

Food Trucks

We are trying something different this year!  We have a few food trucks attending our fun fair this year.  There will be no presales.  

Food trucks will be set up to purchase food directly through the trucks from 5:00-8:00pm.  We will have two trucks - Wings and Red’s Poutine.  Please expect long food lines especially if purchasing over the dinner rush.  We will have a concession set up to sell drinks only. The Cotton Candy Kids will be there selling Cotton Candy and Sno Cones as well.
