Parents as Partners:
A Night about Street Drugs

NOVEMBER 08, 2011 at 6:30pm
CLAYTON HEIGHTS SECONDARY
7003 188TH STREET, SURREY

The Surrey School District has arranged a night for parents and our community to learn about substance use among our young people from those who confront the issue on a daily basis.

Parents and community are invited to attend an evening session on November 08th . The evening session includes a presentation from Tracy Hardman, Substance Use Liaison.

Street Drug Identification

This is a highly interactive session exploring the effects of drugs. We will examine what street drugs look like, what they’re called, signs and symptoms of each drug and how they are administered. We will also provide a thorough explanation of how each drug is used as well as in-depth ‘hands on’ look at drug paraphernalia.

The presentation will be followed by a Question and Answer period. Discussions and questions will provide valuable support to the Surrey School District's ongoing strategy to support students, families and communities.

Information handouts, pamphlets will also be available at the forum.
