Anti-Bullying Talent Search!

Contest for Grade 6 to Grade 12 Students  

The contest deadline is March 2, 2012. 

Do you like to act or sing? Well this contest is for you! 

For the first time ever, PSST  (Protecting Surrey Schools Together) is hosting a district wide talent search! Students are asked to create a 30 second to one minute video depicting an original, strong anti-bullying message through either song or monologue. Videos will be submitted to the PSST website, where once evaluated to ensure that all criteria was met, potential winners will be asked to appear for a live audition. 

Two winners will be chosen, one for acting and one for singing. Winners will receive training from PSST sponsor RSA Academy, in the above mentioned fields. As well, all strong video submissions will be published on the PSST site. These prizes are worth a combined $9,800!

  • Choreography 
  • Music Video/Image & Style 
  • Stage Performance 
In addition, the winners will have the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of industry professionals and could be featured in an RSA Academy commercial. 

Submission Guidelines 
All submissions must be approved by PSST administrators before they will be published to the website. Be sure you understand the rules for how to write for PSST

Official Rules and Regulations 
Video submission must be 30 seconds to one minute in duration. 
Each submission must be for one student alone. Others are allowed to be in the video, as support, but each video must highlight only one person. 
Language and content must be appropriate for all age groups. 
If names are included, please ensure that they are not those of actual individuals. 

If your submission does not meet these guidelines it will not be accepted. Only submissions that are approved to be entered in the contest and later published on PSST will.
